Taking a Trip to Europe

Europe has several interesting places to visit and here is just a list to help deciding where to go. Some call it "The Old Continent" because Europe has history which started millenniums ago. Countries, cities and monuments are there to prove this and wouldn't it be amazing to discover them?

Roman Colosseum
In Italy, for instance, you can find the famous Colosseum in Rome. Two thousand years ago, gladiators and warriors found glory, fame, but also death there. Except from that, the city itself is such a huge museum where you can admire history with all the cathedrals and other monuments.
Then, one of the most famous landmarks in the whole world is, of course, the Eiffel Tower. A real must-see in the world's most beautiful town, the tower is 984 feet high and offers amazing view of Paris.
Now, let's talk about the Acropolis of Athens in Greece, perfect for those who are very interested in history. Ancient buildings and ruins can be found there and if you decide to visit the Parthenon, a site built in the 5th century BC, you will have a great view of Athens, too.
Next, there is the UK where you can see and admire the Tower Bridge, the beautifully designed bridge built in 1894 which stands proudly over the River Thames in London. You can step the wonderful walks on the bridge and get a superb view of London. Plus, the Buckingham Palace can also be visited in London, the official residence of the British Monarchy since 1837. In August and September, visitors can even have a look at the inside of the halls of this Royal Palace.

Tower Bridge

Now, if you think about going to Spain, more precisely in Barcelona, the Sagrada Familia must be seen. It is an unfinished church by the famous architect Antoni Gaudi. Unfortunately, this latter passed away before the work was completed. Although, you can see how the structure and the design are unique and beautiful with towers and innovating architecture.
Then, in Turkey, there is the only city in the world which straddles two continents: Istanbul. The city is the historic crossroads between East and West, perfect for a rejuvenating break. Mosques, bazaars and monuments can be explored there. You can discover the impressive Blue Mosque of Sultan Ahmet Camii, for example, then take the Galata bridge before stopping at Miniaturk park and shopping at the Grand Bazaar.
Last but not the least, Germany has the amazing St. Michaelis church in Hamburg. Built in 1625, St. Michaelis is one of the city's Lutheran main churches and visitors can enter it for free during the day
